September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and a wide variety of Atlanta-area restaurants will support CURE Childhood Cancer with special sales and events throughout the month.

“At CURE, we know that research is the key to achieving significant progress in the fight against childhood cancer,” said Kristin Connor, CEO for CURE. “We are thrilled for the support and awareness that the restaurant efforts bring us to help in our mission to fund targeted research and support families.”

Below is a list of area restaurants and their activities in September to support CURE:

• Chipotle - Dunwoody location (1614 Mt. Vernon Road): The restaurant is hosting a give-back night on Wednesday, September 6. Thirty three percent of all sales will benefit CURE. Use code D3JNEDN when ordering online.

• HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern - Brookhaven location (804 Town Boulevard): on Tuesday, September 19, the restaurant will donate 20% of its sales to CURE.

• Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream - Dunwoody location (1230 Ashford Crossing): The restaurant will host an Ice Cream Social on Thursday, September 21, and will donate 25% of all scoops sales from 3-6 pm to CURE.

• Little Bear - Summerhill (71-A Georgia Avenue): The restaurant will have QR codes on menus throughout September for guests to make direct donations to CURE.

• Southern Baked Pie Company - All locations (Buckhead, Alpharetta, Vinings and Gainesville): All four locations will donate $1 dollar to CURE for each pie slice sold the week of September 10-16.

• Village Burger - All locations (Dunwoody, Johns Creek, Tucker and Cumming): All four Village Burger locations will have donation cards for customers to purchase and sign a $1 or $5 donation card to hang on the wall. Village Burger will also provide Coins4CURE jars at all registers.

• Zunzi’s - West Midtown Atlanta location (1971 Howell Mill Road): The restaurant will donate 1% of all sales now through October 9 to CURE and will celebrate its donation to CURE at ZUNZIFEST! on October 10.
