Off Leash Dog Park Unleashing Four-Legged Fun in Alpharetta
Dogs (and their humans) will have a lot to love when Off Leash Dog Park opens this summer. This novel combination of dog park, restaurant and social club will open its flagship location in downtown Alpharetta at 142 South Main Street this July.
Off Leash centers around a spacious outdoor dog park where pets can run off-leash and their humans can gather. When the weather is less pleasant, Off Leash Alpharetta is also equipped with a fully indoor dog park to accommodate all those rainy-day zoomies! Dogs and humans can enjoy a meal together on the outdoor patio, and those who want to dine dog-free can eat indoors with a view of pups at play.
Off Leash offers month-to-month and annual membership options, that grant unlimited year-round access, discounts on food and non-alcoholic beverages on each visit and invitations to exclusive members-only events. The first 142 members will receive a Founding Membership with a discounted yearly rate of $142 (normally $365+), a special gift box of Off Leash merchandise and admission to the VIP opening event. Day passes are available for those who want to try out the park without committing to a membership. Anyone is welcome to dine with their dog at Off Leash, but to enjoy the off-leash dog park, a day pass or membership is required.
The restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with elevated menu offerings designed with both humans and dogs in mind. Humans can choose from a selection of chef-driven items including shareable appetizers like house-made chips paired with specialty dips and entrees like sandwiches, burgers and salads. A full bar will also be available offering craft beer, wine and cocktails. Dogs will drool over tasty treats like a canine-safe sundae and doggie hamburger.
“In downtown Alpharetta, there is such a love for dogs and being out with your dog,” says Off Leash cofounder and CEO Wendy Newman. “Off Leash is elevating the dog park experience, and we hope to become a social hub for pups and their people, a place that dog owners and their friends want to hang out as much as the dogs themselves.”
Dog owners will have peace of mind knowing that their four-legged friends will be safe while they play. All dogs are required to be up to date on vaccines and be spayed or neutered. Off Leash also will employ a team of “dogtenders” who maintain a fun atmosphere while being prepared to recognize and de-escalate any aggressive behavior.
Once open, Off Leash will host special events like doggy yoga, pet adoptions, mobile grooming and dog training workshops. Follow Off Leash on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
