Sankranti Indian Kitchen opened its third location near Georgia Tech in Midtown on Dec. 1, and is already wowing guests with its flavorful, health-conscious Indian fare. Located at 85 5th Street in Georgia Tech’s Technology Square, the fast casual eatery offers a menu of affordable dishes such as curry bowls, karma rolls, veggie samosas, chicken biryani, salads, traditional Indian beverages and desserts. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are center stage, but chicken can be added to suit any palate. Guests choose from pulao rice, jeera rice or grilled vegetables as the base of their bowls and add proteins including mango chicken, chicken tikka kabobs, malai chicken kabobs, chana (chickpea), paneer (cheese) and tofu (a vegan option). Sauce options include tikka masala, spinach (palak) sauce and vindaloo sauce. Sankranti Indian Kitchen is open for lunch and dinner daily from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. and offers online ordering and free delivery on orders over $25.
