Summer Sizzles in Summerhill

Summerhill, one of Atlanta's most vibrant neighborhoods, is buzzing with a variety of events in July. From delectable dining experiences to unique pop-up markets and thrilling sports watch parties, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

  • Wood’s Chapel BBQ invites guests to celebrate Independence Day with its family-style catering menu. The eatery offers a range of delicious options to make your holiday celebration unforgettable including meats by the pound, party platters, sides, desserts and more.   • On Sunday, July 14, Georgia Vintage Goods presents Summerhill Sundays - A Vintage and Handmade Pop-Up. From 12-6 p.m., this event showcases 70 of the best local artists, vintage curators and handmade artisans from the Southeast. Guests will enjoy live music from a DJ and activations by Topo Chico and The Rounds. This is an excellent opportunity to shop local and explore all that Summerhill offers.

  • Halfway Crooks has an action-packed schedule for July, filled with soccer watch parties, DJ sets and more. View the events calendar on the website. Highlights include:

    • July 5: Euro quarter-finals on the roof at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m., sunsets in the garden DJ at 6 p.m. and Copa America quarter-final at 9 p.m.

    • July 6: Euro quarter-finals in the beer garden at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. and Copa America quarter-final on the roof at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

    • July 7: Ysheso & Ralo In the House DJ at 4 p.m. and trivia night on the roof at 6:30 p.m. (every Sunday)

    • July 9-10: Euro semifinals on the roof at 3 p.m. (open early) and Copa America semifinals at 8 p.m.

    • July 13: Crafts & Crates in the beer garden

    • July 14: Euro final at 3 p.m. and Copa America final in the beer garden at 8 p.m.

  • Junior's features the Cuba Gooding Junior’s as its pizza of the month, available to order as regular, veggie and vegan. Similar to an open-faced Cuban sandwich, the regular option has light mayo, Swiss cheese, ham, pork, pickles and mustard. The veggie has jackfruit, and the vegan boasts jackfruit, Vegenaise and Violife cheese.

  • On Monday, July 15, Little Bear will host Chance's Steakhouse, offering a unique dining experience created by sous chef Blazer Turman. This pop-up event promises an evening of great food, featuring both vegetarian and vegan options in limited quantities. Reservations can be made via Resy.
