Atlanta’s fish and game forecast points to Thursday, Nov. 3 as a great day for reeling in a delicious catch at Aria when chef Gerry Klaskala hosts a fish fry pop-up.
“Going out for a fish fry as a kid was an eye-popper,” says Klaskala. “Crisped haddock was always hanging off the plate, on both sides no less! You'd have to get there early; there was always a wait for a table. Our Buffalo favorites were Wiechec's on Clinton and Hoak’s on the lake.”
Klaskala invites guests to try Aria’s catch at E. Paces Ferry and Maple Drive during his one-day-only fish fry pop-up in the bar and lounge from 5-5:30 p.m. Each $24 plate boasts a crispy, panko-crusted, flaky-white fillet of haddock served with dill pickle tartar sauce, crinkle-cut fries, macaroni salad and coleslaw. Quantities are limited, so mark calendars and grab a spot early.
