Women in Wine is the theme when Heirloom Café hosts its 2nd Tuesday wine tasting on May 11. The Athens restaurant is partnering with Whitley McGeary and Bobby Labartino from Empire Distributors who will share info on the wines and the women who make them. The event includes a three-course meal prepared by chef Jessica Rothacker with guests seated at socially distanced tables on Heirloom’s two covered patios.

The Women in Wine tasting starts at 6:30 p.m. and costs $45 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required, and the maximum party size is eight people. Make reservations by calling 706-354-7901. Guests will be able to place orders for the wines they like at special retail pricing for pick up later at the restaurant.
