Sankranti Restaurant and Sankranti Indian Kitchen Honor Colorful Holi Celebration
Sankranti Restaurant and Sankranti Indian Kitchen are inviting guests to spring forward as the eateries celebrate one of the most popular cultural and religious Hindu festivals. Holi—also known as the Festival of Colors—originated in India and is observed around the world as it commemorates the arrival of spring and new beginnings with participants throwing colorful powdered dye in the air and rejoicing in the streets.
To honor the festival, on Wednesday, March 8, Sankranti Indian Kitchen in Dunwoody adds color to the celebration by giving guests free fryums with a purchase, while Sankranti in Johns Creek wishes a “Happy Holi” with 20% off all desserts.
On Saturday, March 18, Sankranti in Johns Creek invites guests to a Neon Holi celebration from 8 p.m.-12 a.m. The night of fun includes buffet-style food and contemporary pop Bollywood music. Tickets at $30 and can be purchased online in advance.
