Burns Night Supper at Nàdair

  • Nàdair 1123 Zonolite Road Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30306 United States (map)

Chef Kevin Gillespie and his team at Nàdair invite guests to a Burns Night Supper on Jan. 25, 2025, to celebrate the amazing life and works of Scottish poet Robert Burns. The MICHELIN-recommended restaurant—featuring refined, reimagined Scottish dishes and bold, wood-fire cooking—will offer a high-spirited evening, serving a modern take on the classic Burns Night Suppers held in Scotland. The evening, in association with Aris Theatre, includes poetry readings, live music and dances between courses.

This dinner offers two seatings at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. The omnivore friendly-only dinner will also include Nàdair’s standout vegetarian haggis as an option. At 6 p.m., guests will be seated in the main dining room, and the restaurant’s private dining room will host the 7 p.m. seating. Actors will move fluidly throughout the restaurant, and all seatings will enjoy the same cultural offerings. Wine and whiskey pairings and Nàdair’s full beverage menu will be available.

The four-course menu features:

  • Smoked haddock and peekytoe crab “Cullen Skink” with golden potato, parsley root and salt pork

  • Terrine of wild Scottish hare with bacon and leeks, spiced quince and Cape Breton-style oatcakes

  • Gillespie family haggis pie with caramelized potato puree, pickled neeps and grilled turnip salad

  • Winter spice cranachan with whipped crowdie, cranberry-ginger preserves, caramelized oats, Drambuie and candied cranberries

Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a personal welcome from Gillespie and festive music to set the mood. Upbeat, meaningful performances will be offered between courses, with the fourth course (dessert) served during the last performance. Guests will bring home a broadsheet with a poem and the evening’s menu signed by Gillespie.

Robert Burns is a celebrated Scottish poet and lyricist, sometimes regarded as the “National Poet of Scotland.” Burns Night is held on Jan. 25 each year on the poet’s birthday to honor the cultural legacy of Scots. The combination of Nàdair’s exquisite Scottish-influenced cuisine and the talent secured by Arís Theatre, Atlanta’s stage for Celtic culture, will ensure a memorable evening of exploring Scottish culture through spoken word and the performing arts.

Burns Night tickets are $175 each and can be purchased online. The ticket includes four courses and all performances. Beverages and gratuity are an additional cost. Tickets are non-refundable, and reservations are recommended. The event is rain or shine and, as fit for the party atmosphere, guests should plan to dress up for an unforgettable night.
