Cattle Shed Wine & Steak Bar Now Open for Lunch and Brunch

Cattle Shed Wine & Steak Bar, Big Table Restaurants’ upscale, farm-to-table restaurant offering a seasonal menu centered around wine, opened for dinner on May 27 and is now serving weekday lunch and weekend brunch.

“We have been eager to expand our menu since we initially opened for dinner service in May,” says Big Table Restaurants co-owner Sean Yeremyan. “Our brunch and lunch offerings will excite our guests with classic dishes and new combinations.”

These two menus feature palate-stimulating aperitifs, small plates, specialty items and local farm vegetables for a refined meal. Highlights on the lunch menu include:

  • Spicy Mussels – albariño, sofrito and herbs

  • Steak Sandwich (also on the brunch menu) – local, grass-fed black angus grilled steak, salsa verde, pickled chilies and french fries

  • Crab Croissant –lemon, dill, Espelette and french fries

  • Ember Roasted Local Farm Vegetables (also on the brunch menu) – scallion aioli and chervil

Brunch features include:

  • Hunter’s Hash – lamb belly, wild mushrooms, tomato concassé and fines herbs

  • Crepes – sweet ricotta, berries and salted honey

  • Oysters n’ Grits – crispy fried oysters, stone-ground grits, dill and parsley served with lemon and house-made hot sauce

Guests can choose from a selection of aperitifs and cocktails on both menus such as:

  • Steakhouse Martini – Luksusowa vodka and olive juice

  • Cattle Shed Sangria – Watershed apple brandy, Combier peach liqueur, lime juice, agave, fresh mint and a red or white wine float

  • Bee’s Knee’s Riff – Gunpowder gin, honey chamomile tea syrup, lemon and yellow Chartreuse 

Located in the Halcyon mixed-use development, Cattle Shed serves brunch Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., lunch Monday through Friday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and dinner Monday-Sunday 4-10 p.m.  Guests can enjoy a charcuterie menu between brunch/lunch and dinner service from 2-4 p.m. daily.
