Chicken Salad Chick Continues Metro Atlanta Expansion with Snellville Debut
Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s only Southern inspired, fast-casual chicken salad restaurant concept, is expanding to Gwinnett County with its latest drive-thru location set to open in Snellville before the end of the year. The newest metro-area location is introduced following recent openings in Johns Creek (August 2020) and Loganville (June 2020), and it marks the brand’s 32nd restaurant in Georgia and 15th opened in the metro-Atlanta area.
Located at 1918 Scenic Highway, Chicken Salad Chick Snellville will debut with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by brand leadership and local employees on Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 9:30 a.m. with guests from the City of Snellville and Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce. The restaurant will officially open its doors to the public at 10 a.m.
“Georgia is home to the highest number of Chicken Salad Chick locations in our footprint of 17 states,” said Chicken Salad Chick President and CEO Scott Deviney. “The Snellville location exemplifies our path to continued growth for company-owned locations in the metro-Atlanta area, and we anticipate additional announcements early next year. We can’t wait to serve the Snellville community.”
The restaurant will also host friends & family events on Friday, Dec. 4 and Saturday, Dec. 5 benefiting Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative Ministry’s food pantry. Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce, first responders, local businesses, school officials and other community officials are invited to attend one of these philanthropic events. From this group, one lucky guest will also be randomly selected to receive one free large Quick Chick per week for 52 weeks. All other opening day guests will have the opportunity to enter a raffle to win free chicken salad for a year with an in-store purchase (Ten lucky guests will be randomly chosen at the end of the day).

To adhere to social distancing guidelines, Chicken Salad Chick has implemented a safe procedure for guests to claim their giveaways. Beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday Dec. 8, the first 100 guests to arrive and check in will be assigned a number and a designated return time between 9:45 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. At their designated time, guests will assume their spot in line to make a qualifying purchase – “The Chick” or a menu item of greater value. Large Quick Chick prizes will be uploaded to the winners’ Chicken Salad Chick App the following Monday. Late or missed spots will automatically be awarded to the next person in line.
The first 50 guests to arrive at 10 a.m. and at 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday to order the “Chick Trio” or a menu item of greater value can claim their prize. One prize per person present.
