Love is in the air! With all of the joy and happiness the holiday season brings, it also brings along engagement season. Ray's on the River has long been among the most popular proposal and wedding locations in metro Atlanta.

With unbeatable river views and a professional staff who ensure that every detail of the event is well-organized, Ray's is the perfect location to celebrate all things 'love'. At Atlanta’s premier riverfront venue, it is never too early to save the date and start planning wedding celebrations.

“Ray’s on the River has been a go-to for weddings and special events for more than 40 years,” says John Schadl, Ray’s on the River events manager. “With wedding proposal season fast approaching, this is the perfect time to start planning a memorable event.”

Ray’s on the River offers several event venues and outdoor areas for a wedding ceremony and reception, rehearsal dinner or wedding shower. The restaurant’s Grand Pavilion provides a spectacular event space for large parties. Surrounded by lush landscaping, the Grand Pavilion affords panoramic views of the Chattahoochee River and direct access to a lighted path meandering along the riverbank. The temperature-controlled pavilion has a private entrance and accommodates up to 120 guests with space for a band or DJ and a dance floor. There’s also a newly added bridal suite.

Ray's chefs enjoy customizing each event's menu to best suit the couple's vision, and planning ahead ensures more time for creativity. Couples can choose a strolling reception with decadent canapes paired with a tasting table of top-shelf tequilas and rich amber bourbons or a more formal affair with a multi-course seated dinner and paired wines.

The Ray's team will curate every event to ensure it is the perfect reflection of the happy couple and the wedding of their dreams.
