Cowboy Chicken is announcing the tastiest head-to-head matchup ever to stroll into the rotisserie chicken restaurant: a Sandwich Showdown between the Trail Boss and the Buffalo Chicken sandwiches. The fast casual brand known for its wood-fired rotisserie chicken and homemade side dishes is hosting its very own chicken war, and sandwich enthusiasts can put their taste buds to the test to be entered to win free chicken for a year. The battle for the best ends Tuesday, June 15.

The Trail Boss—a limited-time offering available through July 4—features a breaded rotisserie chicken breast, flash-fried and topped with lettuce, mayo, sweet and spicy pickles and house-made ranch dressing. Its homestyle, savory flavors are a tough match for the spicy, tangy Buffalo Chicken, which features a breaded rotisserie chicken breast that is flash-fried, tossed in tangy Buffalo sauce and served with lettuce, tomato and a choice of ranch or blue cheese.

To enter, diners must vote online for their favorite sandwich and provide their name, email address and phone number. A winner will be drawn on June 15. At the end of the voting period, the sandwich with the most votes will take the title of Sandwich Showdown Champion, and one lucky winner will snag free chicken for a year.
