Fast Casual Restaurant Pochino Italy Opens in Kennesaw

Pochino Italy, a fast casual restaurant serving time-honored recipes, has opened in Kennesaw. With a name that translates to “a little bit of Italy,” Pochino Italy infuses simple and authentic methods together to create traditional dishes that are ready within minutes.

Conveniently located within walking distance to Kennesaw State University, the restaurant marks the first of multiple Pochino Italy sites planned for the region. Five different noodle choices are the foundation for favorites like pesto, bolognese and cacio e pepe. Meanwhile, Pochino Italy’s signature line of pinsa (a Roman-style pizza dough) is featured in red and white varieties such as margherita and prosciutto with eight options, ranging in size from individual to family. For those looking for a refreshing option, della casa, pesto pasta salad and caprese salad options are available. And don’t forget the little ones with a children’s “bambini” menu selection also offered.

“When you think of authentic Italian, you think of a full-service dining experience, but at Pochino Italy, we give guests traditional Italian food in a casual dining environment,” said Jennifer Erdman, co-founder of Pochino Italy. “Whether they have ever traveled to Rome or Italy or simply dream of going someday, we are able to provide that experience through our food, all without a passport.”

In addition to Pochino Italy’s tasty all-day menu, its Italian dessert menu is already receiving rave reviews from customers. The gelato biscotto features a scoop of the tasty treat sandwiched between two handcrafted cookies. There are also fresh cannoli, piped in-house, to satisfy those with a sweet tooth.

Pochino Italy’s Kennesaw location encompasses 1,700 square feet with seating for 44 guests, including an outdoor patio.
