Georgia Boy Returns Dec. 2

Georgia Boy, the acclaimed speakeasy-style restaurant hidden inside chef Joey Ward’s popular Poncey-Highland landmark Southern Belle, officially returns on Thursday, Dec. 2. The destination-within-a-destination will offer a 16-course chef’s tasting menu showcasing Ward’s inventive takes on contemporary Southern cuisine every Thursday-Saturday (with optional beverage pairings—cocktails, wine and non-alcoholic), as Southern Belle brings back its signature four-course menu.

Reservations for Georgia Boy are available beginning Thurs, Nov. 4.

“We’re thrilled to announce the return of Georgia Boy,” says chef Joey Ward. “The whole team is eager to welcome guests back to our intimate setting and have them experience the seasonal creativity of each dish on our changing multicourse menu.”

In addition to Georgia Boy’s multicourse menu, guests also can experience Southern Belle’s four-course tasting menu reflecting the diverse, multicultural culinary influences of Atlanta’s vibrant dining scene along with limited selection of a la carte small plates. Guests also can enjoy handcrafted cocktails, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, from the beverage team and inspired wine pairings from sommelier Cate Hatch—all overseen by general manager and beverage director Kevin Bragg.

Southern Belle’s indoor dining room and inviting patio (weather permitting) are currently open Thursday-Saturday beginning at 5 p.m. Reservations are highly recommended.

Georgia Boy will be open Thursday-Saturday with seatings at 5:30, 6:30, 8 and 9 p.m. Reservations are required and are available through Resy beginning Nov. 4. Reservations are available on a rolling basis 28 days in advance with a maximum of eight guests per seating. Guests will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination to dine at Georgia Boy due to communal tables and a tight seating space.
