“In-Flight Cocktail Service” Takes Off at Southern Belle

Southern Belle, chef Joey Ward’s beloved Poncey-Highland hotspot, is rolling out its “In-Flight Cocktail Service” showcasing house-bottled craft cocktails in travel-size airplane bottles. Cocktails are finished tableside on the restaurant’s decommissioned Delta Air Lines beverage cart and served with a classic Biscoff cookie. Each bottle contains a half cocktail, and Chef Joey plans to serve flights of cocktails highlighting authentic Atlanta flavors and fresh Georgia ingredients. The service, part of the new cocktail-forward beverage program under beverage director Toki Sears, features three cocktails: Ellen Church mixing lavender-infused Cathead vodka, Amaro Nonino, Cocchi Americano and Fino sherry; Buddy Pass with Rittenhouse rye, Cynar and La Quintinye blanc vermouth; and Back for the First Time made with Old Forester bourbon, Blackwell rum, Galliano Vanilla liqueur, crème de cacao and bitters.
