Thanks to these Atlanta-area restaurants, you don’t need to travel to New Orleans to get a taste of Mardi Gras:

Atkins Park Restaurant & Bar promises a full day of beads, quintessential Louisiana fare and zydeco on Feb. 25. The Virginia-Highland restaurant invites guests to sip on hurricanes and join in the fun.
Marlow’s Tavern locations in Avalon, Cumming, East Cobb, Sandy Plains and Roswell are celebrating with N’awlins-style menu features on Feb. 25. In Cumming, guests who dress for the occasion can earn door prizes, and those in Sandy Plains can expect a special Mardi Gras menu Feb. 21-25 featuring chicken & shrimp gumbo, a Bayou flatbread and more. Call your local tavern for more details and be sure to save room for Bourbon Street bread pudding beignets!
Taco Mac in Decatur is hosting a Mardi Gras Takeover with Abita from 5-9 p.m. on Feb. 24 featuring king cake, prizes and Abita beers that will earn double the Brewniversity credits.
