Sip, Shop and Celebrate in Summerhill this January

This January, Atlanta's Summerhill neighborhood is brimming with engaging events and creative ways to enjoy the start of the new year. Whether celebrating Dry January, exploring art and culture or indulging in seasonal flavors, Summerhill has something for everyone. Check out the exciting lineup of events and offerings from local businesses below:

  • For Dry January, Little Bear is spotlighting its house-made non-alcoholic spirit. One of the six cocktail menu spots is always dedicated to a carefully crafted mocktail featuring this NA spirit, which can also be customized to include alcohol for those who prefer a spirited sip.

  • Press Shop offers a robust selection of non-alcoholic beverages, including five flavors of Ghia sodas, brut rosé, blanc de blanc bubbles, NA red wine and three wine alternatives from Australia that pair beautifully with various dishes. Special events this month include:

    • Jan. 23, 7-9 p.m.: Artist Showcase with Brit Webber - Enjoy an evening of creativity as visual artist Brit Webber showcases her latest collection during an opening reception. Guests will receive a complimentary glass of wine.

      Jan. 25, 12-3 p.m.: PAWS @ Press Shop - Meet adorable, adoptable dogs at this in-store adoption event with PAWS. Big Daddy Biscuits will provide free treats and doggie bags to celebrate those who find their furry soulmate.

  • From Jan. 15-24, Aviary is hosting a pop-up with Los Angeles stylist Courtney Jane. Renowned for her creative approach to beauty and fashion, Jane's previous Summerhill pop-up was a sold-out success. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore her latest styles.

  • To mark Dry January, Halfway Crooks is introducing its NA beer Brevet Pils, which will be available in the taproom and beer retailers across Atlanta. Additionally, on Jan. 25, the HC Biergarten will welcome the debut of Te Quiero, a new pop-up concept featuring delicious culinary creations.

  • Winter is the perfect season for hearty flavors, and Wood’s Chapel BBQ is rolling out its signature chili to keep guests warm. Stay tuned for details on an upcoming pig picking and oyster roast—a classic Southern celebration not to be missed.

  • Southern National is joining the Dry January movement with a non-alcoholic espresso martini, the perfect sophisticated sip to enjoy this month.
