Twisted Kitchen Smyrna Hosts Camp Kudzu Fundraiser Jan. 22

On Saturday, Jan. 22, Twisted Kitchen invites guests to an all-day fundraising event at its new Smyrna location benefitting Camp Kudzu and its mission to serve children living with Type 1 diabetes. The popular Italian eatery that lets guests create their own dishes and put their own “twist” on what they eat is donating 100% of sales to the nonprofit and offering giveaways throughout the day.

Fast casual Twisted Kitchen—the popular eatery with three locations in metro Atlanta—lets guests create their own pasta dishes, wraps and salads from a wide variety of fresh ingredients. Guests make it their own by choosing from a full kitchen of fresh meats, cheeses, vegetables and homemade sauces. The staff then puts it together, serving a hot, delicious meal in minutes. Guests also can choose among a selection of signature dishes.

The Jan. 22 fundraiser continues Twisted Kitchen’s partnership with Camp Kudzu. On Jan. 1, Twisted Kitchen kicked off the new year by donating $1 from every kids pasta meal sold at all locations to the nonprofit.

Camp Kudzu is an independent, nonprofit organization that serves children and teens living with Type 1 diabetes. Its programs are delivered with the support of endocrinologists, healthcare professionals and volunteers specifically trained in diabetes management. It offers overnight summer camps, a week-long day camp, family camp weekends and a teen retreat. Its fun-filled programming empowers families, children and teens living with Type 1 diabetes to gain confidence, make connections with their peers and increase knowledge about living a healthy life with diabetes.
