Ray’s at Killer Creek, Alpharetta's fine dining destination known for exceptional service, a chic atmosphere and one of the best selections of bourbon in the Southeast, is toasting 25 years in business on Thursday, Oct. 19, by serving a throwback menu from 1998 for one night only. Additionally, the team at Ray’s at Killer Creek is showing their gratitude to loyal patrons by offering a 25 percent discount on meals on Mondays.

“With sky-high prices right now, people probably think we are crazy to offer a throwback menu,” says Ray Schoenbaum, founder of Ray’s Restaurants. “But we want to show our appreciation for the Alpharetta community that welcomed us with open arms 25 years ago and continues to support the restaurant day in and day out. We couldn’t have made it to this milestone without our longtime guests.”

Prepared by the Ray’s at Killer Creek culinary team, the 1998 menu boasts unbelievable prices and the following menu items:

  • Jumbo lump crab cake – Killer’s award-winning appetizer served with Creole mustard sauce and roasted corn relish ($13.95)

  • Gulf oysters – Killer atomic cocktail sauce and Champagne mignonette ($1.50/each)

  • Salmon Oscar – hickory-roasted salmon topped with lump crab, asparagus and bearnaise, served with whipped potatoes ($24.95)

  • Horseradish-crusted grouper – horseradish butter cracker crust, seasonal vegetables and Dijonnaise ($32.00)

  • Steakhouse Meatloaf (limited) – ribeye and NY strip, red wine demi-glace, bruléed, Gouda, smoked aioli, pickled red onion and whipped potatoes ($15.95)

  • Veal Milanese – thinly pounded veal cutlet dredged in breadcrumbs and pan-fried in butter, topped with a Roquefort butter sauce and served with a simple salad ($26.95)

  • Filet & Lobster – six-ounce filet and broiled lobster tail ($34.95)

The Alpharetta Chamber of Commerce also will commemorate Ray’s at Killer Creek’s milestone event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony earlier in the day. Guests can make reservations to dine during the Oct. 19 anniversary event on OpenTable and take advantage of the 25% discount on all regular meals at the restaurant on Mondays. (Discount excludes alcohol and brunch, cannot be combined with any other promotions).

Ray’s at Killer Creek is open seven days a week for dinner starting at 5 p.m. and Sunday brunch from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The bar and lounge are open Monday-Sunday at 4 p.m. Special events rooms and private dining also are available.
