5Church Midtown & 5Church Buckhead Invite Guests to Dine and Support Local Farmers April 15-30

5Church is proud to partner with Georgia Organics to support local farmers through The Farmer Fund. From April 15-30, the restaurant group will donate $1 to support local farmers for every chicken dinner entrée sold at 5Church Buckhead and every bacon burnt ends appetizer sold at 5Church Midtown.

5Church relies on the hard work of local farmers and purveyors and recognize the importance of supporting them through all types of crises. The Farmer Fund recently raised $230,000 to provide relief to farmers affected by the deep freeze in December and now is raising funds to prepare for future emergencies that could impact local agriculture.

In recent years, farmers have been particularly vulnerable to climate-related weather changes, public health crises and natural disasters. Through The Farmer Fund, the community comes together to support farmers and build a more resilient food system.

5Church Midtown's Bacon Burnt Ends

5Church Midtown's bacon burnt ends appetizer

5Church has thoughtfully chosen Buckhead's chicken entrée and Midtown's bacon burnt ends for this fundraising campaign, as both dishes feature ingredients sourced from local farms. The chicken dinner entrée uses chicken from Springer Mountain Farms in Baldwin, Georgia, Savannah Bee honey and seasonal vegetables like carrots, zucchini and onions from various local produce suppliers. Meanwhile, the bacon burnt ends dish includes bacon slab from Heywood Provisions in Marietta, Georgia, Savannah Bee honey and locally sourced green cabbage and red onions. By selecting these dishes for the fundraiser, 5Church not only supports The Farmers Fund but also highlights the high-quality, locally sourced ingredients that patrons love, making it a win-win for everyone involved.

Guests interested in donating directly to The Farmer Fund can do so via the website at  thefarmerfund.org.
