Atlanta Bread's New Warm-Weather Features Are Bursting with Flavor

Restaurant brands don’t become a destination for over 25 years without perfecting a few things about their business. For Atlanta Bread, the “secret ingredient” to success is never skimping on quality. The bakery café chain’s commitment to freshness means changing with the seasons and taking advantage of peak produce. The delicious results can be seen throughout the menu of spring features, as well as the ever-popular sandwiches, soups, salads and freshly baked pastries.

“At Atlanta Bread, we look forward to each season as an opportunity to offer our guests new flavors and introduce them to new favorites,” said Basil Couvaras, co-founder, senior vice president and chief operating officer of Atlanta Bread. “This spring, the focus is on watermelon and strawberries alongside several new bowls that spotlight fresh, trend-forward flavors as the weather gets warmer.”

The seasonal menu of limited-time-only features includes a new wrapini (a delicious cross between a wrap and a panini) and several fresh watermelon and strawberry options bursting with flavor. These items are available while supplies last:

  • Monterey Wrapini – grilled chicken, cheese, avocado, bacon, chipotle ranch, wheat wrap and salsa

  • Watermelon Feta Salad mixed greens, spinach, watermelon, cucumber, feta, candied walnuts and balsamic vinaigrette

  • Watermelon Mojito Smoothie fresh watermelon, strawberries and mint

  • Side of Fresh-Cut Watermelon – available as a side or as a substitute for chips for an extra charge

  • Sweet Watermelon Tea – black iced tea sweetened with a hint of watermelon

  • Queenie – strawberry or sugar - delectable buttery pastry sprinkled with sugar crystals

Two new bowls have shot straight to the top of the lunchtime favorites list, along with three new breakfast bowls and a smoothie to fuel the morning. The best part is, they are served all day.

  • Super Med Bowl – fresh and classic Mediterranean flavors of spinach, ancient grains, hummus, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red onion, Kalamata olives, feta cheese and lemon drizzled with olive oil

  • Tex-Mex Bowl chicken, greens, ancient grains, cheese, avocado, roasted black beans and corn, cherry tomatoes, topped with chipotle ranch dressing

  • Sunrise Bowls – strawberries, bananas, homemade granola, coconut and a honey drizzle or blueberries, bananas, peanut butter and almonds, both with a choice of Greek yogurt or steel-cut oatmeal

  • Southwest Bowl roasted potatoes, fluffy scrambled eggs, pico de gallo, avocado, shredded cheese and choice of breakfast meat

  • Power Bowl –ancient grains, spinach, avocado, roasted mushrooms, tomatoes and feta topped with baked sunny-side-up eggs

  • Strawberry Banana Chia Seed Smoothie – strawberries, banana and chia seeds

In addition to these new menu items for spring, Atlanta Bread serves timelessly classic sandwiches, soups, salads, desserts and all-day breakfast items to satisfy appetites with wholesome ingredients and quality, no-fuss food. All breads, pastries and desserts are baked fresh daily at the restaurants.

Both hot and cold beverages are available and include Lavazza coffee with beans ground fresh right before brewing, espresso-based drinks using Rainforest Alliance Coffee, gourmet teas, Caféchillos (frozen blended coffee drinks available in different flavors), smoothies, soft drinks and juices.
