Atlanta Restaurants Bring on the Chill with Frozen Drinks

It’s summertime, and nothing screams summer more than an ice-cold frozen cocktail to stave off the summer heat. Luckily, Atlanta restaurants have fun and flavorful options that are perfect for the rising temperatures. These boozy drinks will cool down guests and taste delicious. Check out the following list of our favorite frozen cocktails for summer.

Cofresi’s Cure

Ghost Coast Tiki rum, Rhum J. M Agricole blanc, Ghost Coast Chalmers Maraschino, toasted Coco Lopez, fermented pineapple and mango, Urfa chile, lime, mango skin powder and OFTD float.

The origin of the piña colada is heavily debated. My favorite story is that Roberto Cofresí, a Puerto Rican pirate of the 1800s, created this drink to boost the morale of his crew. Who doesn’t need a bit of liquid courage every now and then? This colada gives bite of Urfa chile with the heart and funk of fermented mangoes and pineapple.

Strawberry Vodka Lemonade

229 vodka, fresh-squeezed lemons and strawberry puree.

This drink seems to remind people of their childhoods, with an intense strawberry lemon flavor that makes them think of a certain chewy candy we all had growing up. Sure, it’s grown-up candy, but not too grown up, making it a perfect match for our BBQ. Serious in its ingredients and preparation, but not fussy.
