Velvet Taco Takes Guests Around the Globe with Limited-Time Weekly Taco Feature

Velvet Taco at The Interlock, the funky fast-casual taco spot, has delicious limited-time tacos 52 times a year for its Weekly Taco Feature (commonly known as the WTF). The weekly rotation adds flair and variety to an already extensive and experimental menu. The chef-centric restaurant is eager for guests to discover new specials boasting bold, innovative flavors that invite guests to explore the world through its weekly special recipes that are available for one week only.

“We take seasonal cuisines from all over the globe and craft them in a taco,” says Tanesha Blake, general manager from Velvet Taco at The Interlock located in West Midtown. “For example, the Foie Gras Poutine Taco that we showcase during the holidays is our distinctive take on the famous Canadian dish. One of my favorites is the Caribbean Shrimp Taco which is our play on a Caribbean Jerk dish.”

The one-of-a-kind Weekly Taco Feature offerings are designed to embody a variety of flavors inspired by international cuisines, local comfort food and skillful combinations. In addition to favorites available year-round, like the Chicken & Waffle or Spicy Tikka Chicken, guests are encouraged to discover new favorites that are crafted with the same flavor and creativity that Velvet Taco is famously recognized for within the community.
