Atlanta Restaurants Hoop it Up During March

The 2023 Men’s NCAA basketball tournament is back in full swing through April 3. Starting in Dayton, Ohio, and making its way to finals in Houston, this widely watched series is the perfect time to head to a local restaurant or bar to catch all the action. From roaring atmospheres to winning menus and specials, these Atlanta restaurants are the next best thing to being courtside.

  • Tin Lizzy’s Cantina invites guests to grab their bracket buddies and head over to experience the games in a lively atmosphere with friendly service and numerous televisions for viewing all the games. Specials during the tournament include Margarita Monday with $4 TLC margaritas all day long; Taco Tuesday with select $2.99 tacos and $7 margaritas all day; and weekday happy hour Monday through Friday from 4-6 p.m. with $25 TLC margarita pitchers, $15 Bud Light and Dos Equis Ambar draft pitchers, $20 seltzer buckets with five cans, $6 loaded tots and $5 Georgia spiked tea.

  • Taco Mac, Georgia’s favorite neighborhood sports bar, celebrates the games with beer specials, a contest to determine the champion of craft beers and its fan-favorite annual Basketball Challenge, featuring cash prizes and a VIP experience for two at next year’s College Basketball Championship in Phoenix. Guests 18 or older are invited to preregister at tacomacbracket.com and submit completed game forms between Sunday, March 12 and 12 p.m. EST on Thursday, March 16. The Taco Mac Champion—the guest with the most accurate choices across all Taco Mac locations—wins a VIP experience at the 2024 College Basketball Championship in Phoenix. Other prizes include $25,000 cash for correctly predicting all 63 games and $5,000 cash for correctly predicting 60 or more games. In addition, guests can vote for their favorite participating craft beer (while earning Brewniversity credits) during the Taco Mac Craft Challenge starting March 15.
