Chido & Padre’s Brings the Olé to Mexican Independence Day Party on Sept. 16

Chido & Padre’s invites guests to celebrate Mexico’s liberation from Spain at a Mexican Independence Day celebration on Friday, Sept. 16. From 6:30-9:30 p.m., the Buckhead eatery commemorates the event with a suckling pig taco bar boasting mojo and sour orange suckling pig taco plates (3 tacos for $22) and a garnish station with tomatillo, salsa verde, cilantro, onions, radishes and cotija cheese. Other festivities include a DJ and a tequila tasting and education station where guests receive one complimentary visit with an entrée purchase. There is no cover charge to attend the celebration, and Chido & Padre’s also will serve its regular dinner menu during the event.
