Community Burger Opening Second Location in Crabapple Neighborhood

After a successful launch in Canton last year, chef Todd Hogan is ready to bring his community-driven restaurant concept Community Burger to Milton. The new location of Community Burger is in the heart of Crabapple, close to several schools and residential neighborhoods. As someone who calls the area home, Hogan felt it was an obvious choice to expand his business.

“The area is so family-friendly. With our brand being driven by community and local philanthropy, I felt like it was a home run to go there,” says Hogan.

The restaurant will be located a short walk from Crabapple Crossing Elementary, Northwest Middle and Milton High Schools, and Hogan plans to support various school sports teams, clubs and fundraisers. “We have a great opportunity to create relationships with the neighborhoods and schools that are right at our doorstep,” Hogan says.

In addition to supporting local schools, My Community Matters—Community Burger’s give-back program—will continue at the new location, supporting community-driven causes and nonprofits in the Milton area. With each order, guests receive a wooden nickel that they can drop into a container to designate a donation.

Hogan is passionate about ending food insecurity, so a local food bank is always among the beneficiaries of the proceeds from My Community Matters. The other two causes are selected quarterly through customer nominations. After the quarter is over, the donation is divided among the three philanthropies based on the votes cast by the guests.

Like the flagship Canton location, the restaurant will serve a selection of handcrafted burgers, salads and sides complemented by house-made condiments and locally sourced ingredients.

Community Burger will continue to offer a selection of craft cocktails on tap, using fresh ingredients and fruit purées to create batch cocktails like the popular smoked apple whiskey sour. It also plans to partner with local breweries like Alpharetta’s Cherry Street Brewing and Canton’s Reformation Brewing by offering a rotating selection of local beers alongside its Community Burger Lite, a custom brew produced by Green Line Brewery in Canton.

The Crabapple location of Community Burger is scheduled to open early summer at 3200 Heritage Walk, Milton, Georgia. For more information and updates on the opening, visit www.yourcommunityburger.com or follow @yourcommunityburger on Instagram.
