Gypsy Kitchen Celebrates National Paella Day with Specials and Music March 26-27

National Paella Day is Monday, March 27, and Gypsy Kitchen is celebrating the popular rice dish with food and drink specials on Sunday, March 26 and Monday, March 27. National Paella Day highlights include:

  • Traditional paella – shrimp, mussels, clams, octopus, chorizo, bomba rice, sofrito, soft herbs, garlic aioli and grilled lemon ($48; serves 2-4 people)

  • Fideau – tomato, saffron, fennel, mussels, shrimp, clams, toasted vermicelli pasta, garlic aioli, soft herbs and crusty bread ($46)

  • Vegetarian paella – charred artichoke, grilled asparagus, bomba rice, tomato, fennel, soft herbs and garlic aioli ($42)

  • GK sangria – red or rosé ($9/glass, $36/carafe)

  • Hibiscus lemonade – hibiscus-infused Highclere Castle gin, lemon, Peychaud’s bitters and honey ($16)

In addition to food and drink specials, Gypsy Kitchen sets the mood with a flamenco guitarist. Gypsy Kitchen serves its National Paella Day specials starting at 4 p.m. each day. The full menu also will be available; make reservations online.
