HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern Now Open in Atlantic Station
HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern has opened its doors at Atlantic Station. The fourth location of the popular Atlanta hangout known for “refined fare with a Southern flair” is located at 245 18th Street in the iconic live-work-play development.
“We’re delighted to welcome our neighbors in Atlantic Station and Midtown Atlanta to enjoy the HOBNOB experience,” says Sean Yeremyan, co-owner of Big Table Restaurants. “When they see our spacious, two-story layout, our rooftop patio and most of all our fantastic menu of Southern favorites and handcrafted cocktails, I know they’ll have found their new favorite hangout.”
HOBNOB Atlantic Station boasts the eatery’s menu of favorites including soft pretzels with warm cheese and beer dip, 12-hour porter-braised short ribs, low country shrimp and grits, Tavern salmon, Mother Nature bowls, the AJC’s “best burger” winner, fried chicken sandwich, and the pork belly double-decker BLT. The new location also offers two mouth-watering steak entrées not found at other HOBNOB locations, including a chimichurri skirt steak accompanied by roasted poblano grits and crispy onion rings and an herb-crusted rib-eye steak served with garlic Parmesan smashed potatoes and creamy napa cabbage. Exclusive frozen drinks include Frozé Fishbowl, a 54-ounce frozen rosé cocktail, and Frozen Peach-lana Fishbowl, a frozen peach cocktail.
Overseen by general manager Shannon Adams, with chef Catherine Dill running the kitchen, HOBNOB Atlantic Station serves lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, along with an array of inviting weekly events including Tuesday Trivia and HOBNOB’s Sunday fried chicken special.
The new location features a lounge area for enjoying cocktails, private dining rooms perfect for corporate events and HOBNOB HIGH UP, the rooftop patio available for guests 21 and older on a first-come, first-served basis. The patio, which overlooks Atlantic Station’s activated park, boasts a dazzling view of the Midtown Atlanta skyline and a live DJ on Friday and Saturday nights.
"Atlantic Station is a true-to-Atlanta development with a great representation of local dining and retail options,” said Kristie Ray, director of marketing at Hines. “We strive to provide our community with a neighborhood environment with the best our city has to offer, and HOBNOB is a seamless fit. The new restaurant’s expansive balcony, delicious Southern fare, and position at the center of our property will make it a safe and popular dining option in the heart of Atlanta this spring!”
In addition to dine-in service, guests also can order menu items for takeout. HOBNOB is committed to the safety of its guests and staff and is following all state safety guidelines including limiting the number of people in the restaurant, requiring staff wear masks, limiting touch points and thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces and work areas.
