Learn to Cook at Home with Chef Kevin Gillespie Nov. 1
Running out of recipes and know-how in the kitchen? Join Atlanta chef Kevin Gillespie at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1, for an interactive Chefstreams class featuring two of his signature Southern-inspired dishes: salmon en papillote with vegetables and salsa verde and warm banana pudding with meringue topping.
The restaurateur, chef, speaker and author will demonstrate how to cook both dishes from his home kitchen, answer questions from attendees throughout the evening and participate in an extended Q&A session to close out the livestream experience. Participants will receive a detailed grocery list, a companion recipe book PDF of step-by-step cooking instructions and unlimited access to the on-demand class after its completion. The class costs $40 and runs 1.5 hours. Each recipe yields two servings of each dish.
Gillespie, who owns Red Beard Restaurants that includes Gunshow, Revival and Cold Beer, discovered his passion for cooking thanks to childhood days spent alongside his granny, Geneva Gillespie. “All those experiences in her kitchen showed me how cooking is an expression of love and can create a true bond between people,” says Gillespie. “Cooking my favorite dishes at home creates new family traditions to cherish.”
