Making Spirits Bright: Storico Vino Hosts Holiday Bar with Italian Flair

Storico Vino, the vibrant wine and cocktail bar and restaurant in Buckhead Village already known for its spirited atmosphere, is spreading even more cheer this season by launching its inaugural holiday bar. Featuring festive cocktails, Italian food specials, Christmas music and holiday décor, Storico Vino’s holiday bar is now open and says “buone feste!” to guests looking for an Italian spin on Atlanta’s Christmas pop-ups.
“We’re making it easy for groups of friends, family and colleagues to get in the holiday spirit together in a festive atmosphere,” says co-owner Pietro Gianni. “There is no cover charge or set pricing, and guests can make reservations for a more sophisticated, Italian twist on the holiday pop-up bar experience.”
Offered through the end of the year, the Italian-themed holiday bar welcomes guests with a Christmas playlist and festive atmosphere. In addition to the regular menu, which includes antipasti and bruschetta platters perfect for sharing among groups, Storico Vino also will offer holiday specials such as tortellini and panettone with mascarpone as well as four to five Christmas cocktails. Examples of holiday beverages include:
Hot Hot Hot Chocolate! – Patron Silver, cacao, Nutella, cayenne pepper and vanilla whipped cream
Spiked cider (hot or cold) – Angel Envy bourbon, apple cider and spices
Milk for Santa (coquito/eggnog) – Santa Teresa 1796 rum, coconut cream, condensed milk, evaporated milk and spices
Storico Vino opens with Aperitivo Hour from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and sports fans will appreciate the television over the bar for checking game scores. The not-so-silent nights at Storico Vino end at midnight on weekdays and 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. For guests who find themselves staying merry into the wee hours after the kitchen closes, the restaurant offers complimentary tortellini with brodo (until supplies run out) during the holiday season.
