Milton's Cuisine & Cocktails Announces 2021 Garden Dinner Series

Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails’ popular Garden Dinner Series returns this May. These special dinners celebrating the spring, summer and fall seasons invite guests to get acquainted with Milton’s Acre, the onsite garden of this treasured Crabapple restaurant.

Executive chef Derek Dollar showcases his regionally inspired comfort food with bold, simple flavors. Local produce harvested from Milton’s Acre is highlighted in each garden dinner, as heirloom fruits, vegetables and herbs share the spotlight with carefully selected meats and seafood.

“We look forward to welcoming guests to Milton’s Acre each year and showcasing the fruits of our labor in such a beautiful setting,” says Dollar. “Our garden harvest continues to inspire so many inventive dishes for our Garden Dinner participants to enjoy.”

Each of the dinners starts with hors d'oeuvre and libations in Milton’s Acre, where attendees receive an exclusive tour of the garden. Guests then retire to an outdoor, four-course dinner of inspired comfort foods served family-style with paired wines and accompanied by the soothing sounds of a cellist. The ambiance, reminiscent of rural farm life, provides a tranquil setting for Dollar’s New Southern cuisine.

The Garden Dinner menus are curated a few weeks prior to each event based on what’s in season. Guests can expect to enjoy tastes inspired by the bounty of Milton’s Acre, such as delicate squash blossoms stuffed with prosciutto and cream cheese, pimiento cheese and crawfish and roast duckling with fingerling sweet potatoes, oyster mushrooms, heirloom snap beans and candied pecan apple butter.

All dinners are scheduled on Sunday evenings. 2021 Garden Dinner Series dates with available seating include:

  • May 16

  • September 12

  • September 19

  • October 10

  • October 24

Tickets to the Garden Dinner Series are $125 each (including wine, tax and gratuity) and may be purchased online in advance. Tickets are not transferable for other dates and cannot be refunded within 48 hours of the event.
