Marlow’s Tavern, the Woodall and Sterling Culinary Management, led by executive chef, CEO and co-founder John C. Metz, celebrated the 26th Annual Golf Classic on Oct. 7 at the scenic St. Marlo Country Club in Duluth, raising an impressive $55,000 for Special Olympics Georgia (SOGA). The event, a highlight of Sterling Hospitality’s long-standing fundraising partnership with SOGA since 1999, included breakfast, lunch, a challenging round of golf and an after-party with a silent auction. Since the partnership began, the restaurant group has raised over $1.9 million to support the more than 18,546 athletes, their families and the community, funding life-changing competitions and experiences. “We are honored to see how these contributions empower athletes and their families,” says Metz.
