Rreal Tacos Launches Christmas Pop-Up Bar for the Holidays
Rreal Tacos is lighting up the holiday season with the return of their festive Christmas pop-up experience. Now open through Dec. 31, the bars at all seven Rreal Tacos locations—Midtown, West Midtown, Chamblee, Sandy Springs, Cumming, Sugar Hill and Buckhead—will transform into holiday wonderlands featuring dazzling decorations, a curated Christmas cocktail menu and a playlist filled with holiday classics.
“Last season, we sought to create something that not only celebrated the holidays but also highlighted our culture in a meaningful way,” said Arturo Salgado, Rreal Tacos' beverage director. “There aren’t many holiday concepts that showcase Mexican traditions, and we saw an opportunity to offer something special—a place where our guests can immerse themselves in the joy of the season with a Latin American twist.”
With a decade of bartending experience across upscale and casual settings, Salgado has designed a new cocktail menu that showcases Latin American flavors while embracing the festive spirit of the holidays.
“Guests will see some familiar drinks like our take on a traditional Puerto Rican coquito,” Salgado says. “That’s a cocktail that’s common during the winter holiday season for many in Caribbean communities too. Then growing up in Mexico means that you grew up drinking ABUELITA and that was an absolute must to have on the menu.”
Highlights of the Christmas cocktail menu include:
El Hot Chocolate – tequila blanco, butterscotch schnapps, coffee liquor, ABUELITA and nutmeg
El Grinch – tequila blanco, apple pucker, brown sugar cinnamon syrup, agave and lime
El Rudolph – coconut rum, evaporated milk, condensed milk, coconut cream, vanilla and nutmeg
El Christmas (non-alcoholic) – strawberry, salted caramel, soda and lime
The holiday transformation isn’t just limited to the drinks—Rreal Tacos’ team is going all out with festive decor. “We have so much fun bringing this concept to life, and we can’t wait to see the excitement it sparks for our guests.”
Next year, Rreal Tacos looks forward to bringing the holiday celebration to new locations in downtown Decatur, Lawrenceville and Atlanta’s Beltline.
