Summerhill Announces a New Restaurant, Longer Hours and Specials in June

Summerhill invites visitors for later hours, exclusive menu items and the freshest seasonal produce this summer. Guests can kick off summer exploring the numerous small businesses and restaurants along Georgia Avenue in Summerhill and take advantage of these special features:

• D Boca N Boca, a vivacious taqueria and gastropub, welcomes Summerhill guests to experience its authentic Mexican cuisine and a full bar. Opening June 7, 2022 at 3 p.m., owner Helio Bernal and his team bring the best of Mexico with dishes such as huachinango—a Veracruz-style roasted whole red snapper and street tacos created on a bed of freshly piled tortillas with roasted meats and homemade sauces. Margaritas and cocktails with made-in-house infusions complement the traditional Mexican atmosphere.

• How Crispy Express is dishing out its crispy, juicy chicken for extended hours over the summer. The eatery is now serving guests until 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Father’s Day specials will be updated on Instagram. Menu options are available for delivery and pickup through DoorDash.

• There is history in the baking at Junior’s Pizza. The New York-style pizzeria showcases the Fresh Prince, its June pizza of the month, topped with steak, aioli, provolone cheese, bell peppers and onions. Vegetarian options are available upon request.

• Little Bear highlights its newest dishes made with the freshest ingredients. Seasonal produce on the menu may includes peaches, mayhaws, mulberries, blueberries and feijoa. The culinary team is currently featuring a tomato and peach dish with pecan milk, lemongrass cayenne condiment, egregious chevage, epazote and caraway baharat.
