From Atlanta Braves opening-day festivities to pop-up markets and neighborhood clean-ups, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Here’s a look at what’s happening this month in Summerhill:
Summerhill Sunday – March 9, 2025
The much-loved Summerhill Sundays market is back. On March 9 from 12-6 p.m., more than 50 local vendors will line Georgia Avenue, offering an afternoon of shopping, community vibes and delicious drinks. DJ ill Withers will be spinning tunes while visitors sip on refreshing beverages from Nine Dot and Topo Chico.
Atlanta Braves Opening Day Block Party – March 27, 2025
Baseball fans can kick off the Atlanta Braves 2025 season with a high-energy block party hosted by Woods Chapel BBQ and Halfway Crooks on Thursday, March 27. The festivities start at 3:30 p.m., leading up to the first pitch at 4:10 p.m. Attendees can catch the game on a giant screen at Woods Chapel BBQ while enjoying cornhole boards and special appearances by the Tomahawk Team, Heavy Hitters and Blooper, the official mascot of the Atlanta Braves. 680 The Fan will broadcast live and the Braves Country Road Trip: An All Star Experience will make a stop at the Summerhill Opening Day Block Party, bringing an immersive All-Star activation for Braves fans. Halfway Crooks will also be showing the game and hosting more fun with guest appearances and music in its biergarten.

March is the perfect time to try Big Softie’s fan-favorite matcha soft serve, a vegan treat made with Mizuba matcha. Meanwhile, Little Tart Bakeshop is offering a limited-time strawberry matcha drink, featuring house-made organic strawberry syrup, oat milk and freshly brewed Mizuba matcha over ice.
