The Woodall Features New Menu and Live Music for Hotter Temps

As temperatures continue to soar, the need to chill out rises, too. The Woodall has the answer with new seasonal menus specially crafted for those summer nights when it’s hotter than Georgia asphalt.

Located in the Westside Village at Moore’s Mill, the Woodall is an energetic, unique and upscale gathering place, the hot place to chill out with friends this summer. The new menu, a collection of contemporary dishes inspired by classic recipes, includes a variety of fresh and seasonal appetizers, entrées and desserts as well as returning fan favorites. Additionally, guests can set the vibe for a chill weekend while enjoying the Summer Live Music series. The series is hosted on the appropriately named breezeway between the Woodall and Gezzo’s Cantina every Thursday from 6-9 p.m.

Executive chefs John C. Metz and Karl Gorline collaborated on the summer menu which features a new selection of “really nice things.” A recent article in Nation’s Restaurant News reports an increase in customer demand for luxury items. The luxe menu includes classic oysters on the half shell, chilled rich and luxurious blueberry foie gras torchon and caviar service with a splendid variety of roe options. Embracing YOLO with Instagram-ready moments, guests are invited to add freshly shaved truffle and butter-braised lobster to anything on the menu.

Guests can start with nibbles such as charred farm fresh okra with creamy whipped feta, spicy green harissa and nutty, rich tahini; lump crab beignets with Old Bay served with a wasabi honey mustard; or go old school with wagyu beef pigs in a blanket made with buttery puffed pastry and served with sweet and spicy mustard.

There’s a substantial “crisp and chill” section, perfect for hot summer nights. The gourmet grazing includes creamy chilled house-smoked salmon dip served with caraway lavash and crispy capers; a refreshing watermelon and ahi tuna poke served with rhubarb and ponzu; and pepper-seared New York strip carpaccio with pickled mustard and chewy baguette. It’s no sweat for guests with heartier appetites at the Woodall. This summer menu has it covered from signature steakhouse cuts to dishes like the aromatic berbere-spiced roast chicken with grilled peaches; pappardelle Bolognese; and grilled salmon with a vibrant green goddess dressing.

The new bar menu features light bites such as Creole crab fried rice and bold broccoli Caesar along with tried-and-true menu items patrons love including the Woodall wagyu beef burger, Durham’s golden fried chicken and bistro favorite New York strip steak frites.

The Woodall is located at 2260 Marietta Blvd. NW, Suite 101, Atlanta, GA 30318 and is open for dinner Sunday-Thursday 4-10 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 4-11 p.m. Brunch hours are Saturday and Sunday 10:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. For more information or reservations, please call 404-343-4424 or visit theWoodallwestside.com
