Southern Chefs Potluck's Virtual Food Variety Hour Benefits Families Facing Hunger on Oct. 11

Wholesome Wave Georgia’s 11th Southern Chefs Potluck is going virtual on Sunday, October 11, 2020 to benefit families hit hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic with fresh, locally grown food access. A favorite among the Atlanta dining community, Southern Chefs Potluck will invite viewers across the Southeast to tune in for five-star foodie entertainment broadcast live from the MET Atlanta Penthouse, including:

  • Southern cooking segment from TV personality Chef David Rose of Food Network TV, CBS Chef’s Classic, Good Morning America, and more

  • Cocktail making segment from “The Drinking Coach” and Tales of the Cocktail Foundation’s top five black female influential bartenders Tiffanie Barriere

  • Organic gardening segment from Atlanta Harvest farmer and food justice activist EliYahu Ysrael

Pre-prepared meals will be available to guests in the metro Atlanta area for home delivery the day of the event to enjoy during the live stream. Meals will include a chicken main course with side dishes and desserts from some of the South’s top chefs like Todd Richards, Anne Quatrano, Deborah VanTrece, Jarrett Stieber, and more.

Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on exclusive culinary gifts and experiences in an online silent auction opening 48 hours before cameras start rolling.

Tickets are available at $25 for general admission, $150 for the diner’s experience for two, and $300 for the VIP diner’s experience for two. 

All proceeds will benefit Wholesome Wave Georgia, a nonprofit dedicated to helping Georgians in need get fresh, healthy food to feed their families and strengthen their immune systems against COVID-19.
