Hot and Hot Fish Club’s Chris Hastings Zooms into Home Kitchens for Virtual Cooking Classes

Have you ever wanted to cook alongside a James Beard Foundation (JBF) Award-winning chef? Now’s your chance when you invite Birmingham’s Hot and Hot Fish Club chef/owner Chris Hastings into home kitchens for a series of one-hour virtual classes on Mondays starting at 5:30 p.m. CT/6:30 p.m. ET. As a way to continue his restaurants’ mission of delivering spectacular food experiences, special memories and a sense of family while closed during COVID-19, Hastings’ classes feature a pre-selected meal from his cookbook “Hot and Hot Fish Club: A Celebration of Food, Family and Traditions.” When participants purchase a ticket, they will receive a recipe along with a list of ingredients, a link to cook along with Hastings live via Zoom and a copy of the class video afterward. Upcoming classes include blackberries and johnny cakes with vanilla ice cream on Aug. 24 and chocolate soufflé with crème anglaise and whipped cream on Aug. 31. View full schedule, details and reserve your spot online.
