As National Margarita Day approaches on Thursday, Feb. 22, local restaurants are shaking up some exciting specials to celebrate. From classic margaritas to innovative twists, these establishments are serving up refreshing deals that promise to tantalize taste buds.
AltaToro is offering two unique margaritas for National Margarita Day. The avocado margarita, a blend of Herradura Blanco tequila, Curaçao, fresh avocado, jalapeno-infused agave and lime, delivers a creamy twist on the classic drink. Its seasonal frozen margarita, crafted in-house, is blended with a variety of fresh, hand-picked fruits that change seasonally, ensuring a unique experience with every visit.
Rreal Tacos’ innovative menu of margaritas is a highlight among aficionados. The spicy pineapple margarita mixing spicy infused tequila, triple sec, fresh pineapple, coconut cream, agave and lime and the Mezcalita with Mezcal Joven, triple sec, agave and lime are worth a try.
Tin Lizzy's is set to mark National Margarita Day by offering $5 TLC margaritas and $8 Teremana margaritas. Additionally, guests can savor the newly launched spicy mango margarita, making its debut just the day before that mixes Tanteo Jalapeño tequila, agave puree and fresh citrus with a Tajin rim and a lime wheel for $11. This is the perfect opportunity for margarita enthusiasts to enjoy classic flavors or explore something new at Tin Lizzy's.
Chido & Padre's joins the celebration with its $8 Teremana margaritas and is spicing up the event with a special taco menu. Taco varieties include duck birria, Baja cauliflower and coastal shrimp. Adding to the fun, a DJ will set the mood starting at 6:30 p.m., ensuring a lively backdrop for guests as they enjoy the festivities.
The Big Ketch Saltwater Grill adds a coastal twist to Margarita Day celebrations. The eatery is offering $8 Teremana margaritas along with unique seafood specials. Patrons can create perfect pairings while indulging in $12 grilled oysters (half a dozen) and $3 tequila lime oyster shooters.
Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar is offering all flavors of its house margarita for a mere $2.22 all day. It's a chance to sample a variety of flavors at an unbeatable price.
Red Pepper Taqueria is serving up $5 margaritas and $5 tapas all day long.
Bahama Breeze Island Grille is celebrating National Margarita Day with $2.22 Classic Margaritas all day.
Buckhead's iconic Atlanta Fish Market is offering three special margaritas that can be ordered individually or as a flight. Each margarita is $18, while a flight to taste all three (6 oz pours) is $27.

In addition to a classic margarita, Monday Night Brewing offers the Pina Picante–a delicious cocktail featuring MNB Brewmaster Peter Kiley’s newly-launched brand of tequila, Pedro Furtivo, spicy simple syrup, lime juice and pineapple juice. Guests can also order a “margherita” pizza to pair with their margarita.
In celebration of National Margarita Day, Hopdoddy is partnering with Dos Hombres–Bryan Cranston & Aaron Paul’s award-winning mezcal brand. Both hombres have crafted their own version of a killer Dos Hombres-spiked margarita, and Hopdoddy wants to know which one guests like best. From Feb. 20-22, guests can visit any Atlanta-area Hopdoddy to sample both versions (for free) and vote via QR code for their favorite of the two. The winning marg of the Dueling Dudes competition will be featured at Hopdoddy for $5 for the rest of the month:
