Blanco, anejo, reposado? Salted rim? Margarita or with sparkling water and lime? Atlanta’s tequila scene has something for everyone. National Tequila Day is Monday, July 24, and Atlanta restaurants invite guests in for the spirited occasion to explore their cocktail menus or compare notes with a flight of top-shelf libations. The following is a roundup of some of the best spots to indulge in the distilled blue agave all around Atlanta.

Freshly opened and already super popular, AltaToro in Midtown is making a splash with its new avocado margarita made with Herradura Blanco, Curaçao, avocado, jalapeno-infused agave and lime, a great pairing for the refreshing gazpacho. Amor Latino mixes Corazon tequila, coconut liqueur, coconut water, pineapple, passionfruit and lime and is a lively and tropical complement to the colorful artwork and entertainment. AltaToro’s tapas-style menu features modern Latin cuisine from all over the world.

Chido + Padre's always brings the fun to Buckhead and invites guests to cool off with handmade margaritas or sips from the tequila menu. Bringing a coastal Baja vibe, the eatery features over 30 tequilas from blanco to reposado. Closed on Mondays, Chido + Padre’s will celebrate National Tequila Day on Sunday, July 23 with $10 bloody Marias during brunch, a complimentary tequila tasting table from 3-6 p.m. with the purchase of any entree and tequila flight features. A DJ provides the party tunes from 5-8 p.m.

Red Pepper Taqueria, with locations in Dunwoody, Briarcliff, Brookhaven and Buckhead, is featuring National Tequila Day specials July 22-24. Guests are invited in for $5 house margaritas, $8 Tanteo Jalapeño cocktails, $4 spicy watermelon shooters and half off shots of El Jimador and Casamigos.

RReal Tacos has an incredibly diverse library of specialty tequilas and mezcals from all the best haciendas in Mexico. Guests can find their passions in Mijenta Blanco, a fruit-forward and cinnamon-finished silver tequila from a sustainable zero-carbon producer, or a top-tier Gran Centenario Leyenda Extra Añejo with notes of toasted almond and clove. Rreal Tacos margaritas run from classic to exotic at all five locations and pair well with the popular crispy avocado starter or one of its authentic tacos representing Mexico's culinary diversity. The barbacoa birria is a favorite.

All Tin Lizzy's locations will have National Tequila Day specials to complement its menu of eclectic tacos, ultra-fresh salads, hearty skillets and house-made salsas. Guests can swing by all week long for $8 strawberry cucumber Mana refreshers made from Teremana tequila and $6 dressed Teremana shots. The stars align, and National Tequila day coincides with Margarita Monday on July 24 when guests can kick back with $4 TLC margaritas all day.
