Sip Through Summer During Roswell’s Summer Sippin’ Event

Roswell’s Summer Sippin’ event runs through August 31, which means cocktail fans have plenty of time to celebrate Roswell’s vibrant cocktail scene by ordering featured cocktails at participating restaurants. Guests are encouraged to rate their sips through the Summer Sippin’ Roswell app and website to decide this year’s “Best Sips” awards. More than 50 restaurants are participating, including the following Roswell favorites:

• Marlow’s Tavern - Passion Fruit Mojito

  • Bacardi Light, muddled fresh mint and lime, Chinola passion fruit liqueur and demerara ($10).

• Deep Roots Wine Market & Tasting Room - Sparkling Grapefruit Spritz

  • Lo-Fi Gentian Amara aperitif, J Vineyards CA cuveé, soda and a grapefruit garnish ($12). A non-alcoholic version ($10) is made with Hella cocktail bitters and soda, FRE non-alcoholic sparkling wine and a grapefruit garnish.

• Rock 'N' Taco - Strawberry Basil Skinny Margarita

  • Herradura Blanco tequila, homemade strawberry-basil infused syrup, lime juice and agave for a touch of sweetness ($12).

• Madrid Spanish Taverna - Passion Fruit Rum Daiquiri

  • A twist on the traditional Spanish recipe with Don Q Passion Fruit rum, fresh lime juice, a dash of sugar and ice ($8).
