Team Behind Storico Fresco and Forza Storico Will Open Storico Vino in Buckhead Village This Fall

The owners of Storico Fresco and Forza Storico, Michael Patrick, Pietro Gianni and Stephen Peterson, announce the newest concept coming to their portfolio: Storico Vino. The Italian wine bar will open this fall in the former Corso Coffee space in Buckhead Village (3059 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305).

The team is partnering with Jamestown, the real estate investment and management company that purchased Buckhead Village in July 2019, to revamp the space into a true Italian wine bar. This partnership is familiar as Forza Storico is in another Jamestown property, the Westside Provisions.

Storico Vino currently exists as a virtual wine store. The brick-and-mortar will feature an expansive bar area with high-tops and dining tables. There also will be a large, covered patio with ample seating to enjoy dining (and drinking) al fresco. The atmosphere will resemble Storico Fresco and Forza Storico, offering an energetic vibe with good music and a simple interior, to highlight the traditional Italian fare and beverage program.

In addition to an extensive Italian wine list available by the glass and bottle, Storico Vino will serve a full cocktail list and a locally sourced food menu by executive chef Michael Patrick that replicates the traditional Italian way of dining: enjoying shared appetizers, meat and cheese boards, finger foods, paninis, pastas, salads, and of course lots of wine. Wines offered at Storico Vino and Storico Fresco also will be available to take home as the restaurants will have a packaging license that allows guests to purchase bottles of wine even after the mayor’s current executive order expires.
