The Big Ketch Saltwater Grill Makes a Splash with New Drink Menu

The Big Ketch Saltwater Grill, Atlanta’s favorite neighborhood beach getaway, announces a bevy of new drinks to toast the fall season. With choices such as refreshing sangria and a chilled frozen mojito, guests will find the perfect drink to help them unwind from the daily grind.

Guests also can unwind at The Big Ketch’s weekday happy hour every Monday-Friday from 4-6 p.m. Features include East Coast oysters on the half shell for $12.97 a dozen, $4 shrimp tacos, $10 peel-and-eat shrimp, a rotating boat drink for $5, $18 Bud Light/Michelob Ultra buckets, $20 Corona buckets and $25 High Noon buckets.

New drinks on the menu include:

  • Basil 8 – Bare Bone vodka, basil syrup, Giffard grapefruit and fresh basil ($12). This evolution of the TBK favorite is more refreshing than the original, balanced with fruity citrus and aromatic basil.

  • Yacht Club Mule – Bare Bone vodka, Fever-Tree ginger beer and strawberry purée ($11). The TBK mule with a seasonal twist of strawberry and ginger is a touch spicy and a touch sweet.

  • The Frojito – Bacardi rum, mint syrup and fresh lime juice ($11). A crisp, clean, refreshing frozen Mojito that’s perfect for a beach party.

  • Smoke and Fire Margarita – Xicaru mezcal, El Jimador, house citrus sour, charred chili honey and smoked salt rim ($13). TBK’s new Smoke and Fire margarita, with the addition of serrano honey syrup, builds complexity with the perfect level of heat and sweet.

  • Buckhead Betty – St. Germain, blackberry purée, Bare Bone vodka and sparkling wine ($12). A timeless twist on a TBK favorite, this cocktail is more refreshing and flavorful than the original, mixed with a blackberry purée and aromatic elderflower.

  • The Royal Ketch – Plymouth gin, Dolin vermouth, blue cheese olives and lemon twist ($14). Perfect with seafood, this vermouth-forward martini is stirred not shaken and garnished with blue cheese olives and a long lemon twist.

  • Coco Beach Party – Vida pressed coconut water, orgeat syrup, rhum agricole, molasses rum and pineapple juice ($13). A new-and-improved version of a piña colada, this low-calorie, light, refreshing cocktail is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

  • Passion Paloma – El Jimador Blanco, passion fruit, grapefruit juice and house citrus sour ($12). This cocktail is an easy-drinking grapefruit-passionfruit version of the classic Paloma.

  • Galea Sangria – This organically grown and produced red sangria from Spain is served with a seasonal fruit skewer ($10 glass/ $40 bottle).

With fresh seafood delivered daily, The Big Ketch has plenty of menu items to complement its drinks, including TBK Baja tacos served with choice of shrimp or fish, fresh “ketch” selections and their famous hot buttered lobster roll.
