The Big Ketch Saltwater Grill Welcomes Spring with New Events and Specials

Buckhead’s favorite beach house getaway has new events and specials in store for spring. The Big Ketch Saltwater Grill invites guests to laid-back ocean life with patio parties, happy hour specials and new menu items.

The Big Ketch, known for handcrafted cocktails and coastal-inspired fare, savors the season with patio parties, making waves every Thursday through June 3. Live music starts at 5:30 p.m. with $5 featured cocktails, $5 local draft beers and beer and seltzer bucket specials.  

Patio party themes and dates are:  

  • April 22: Luau

  • April 29: Lobsterfest 

  • May 6: Fish Fry 

  • May 13: Low Country Boil 

  • May 20: Oysterfest 

  • May 27: Luau

  • June 3: Lobsterfest 

The beach party doesn’t stop there. Guests can head to this tropical escape after work when happy hour calls, Monday-Friday from 4-6 p.m. The after-work crowd can munch on happy hour specials like East Coast oysters on the half shell ($12.97); shrimp tacos with grilled corn salad, cilantro lime kale slaw and green goddess dressing ($4 each); and peel-and-eat shrimp with TBK cocktail sauce ($10). Drink specials include a rotating boat drink for $5, Bud Light or Michelob Ultra buckets for $18, a Corona bucket for $20 and High Noon buckets for $25. 

Guests dropping in to dine on coastal cuisine can feast on new menu items such as: 

  • Smoked salmon tostadas with whipped avocado crema, tamarind salsa and lime radish-herb salad ($13.95)

  • Buffalo hot fish bites with hot sauce, celery and bleu cheese dressing for dipping ($9.95)

  • Jumbo lump crab cake served alongside a salad of avocado, palm hearts, heirloom tomato and whipped avocado crema (available as a starter - $13.95 or larger entrée portion - $23.95)

These new items are served along with popular favorites including chargrilled oysters, hot buttered lobster roll, Baja tacos and “Fresh Ketch” options of Gulf shrimp, grouper, seared scallops and Atlantic salmon, which can be paired with seasonal sangria or the Smoke & Fire margarita with Ancho Reyes chili liqueur.
