Bayou 'n Bourbon Encourages Feasting and Fun at Marlow's Tavern

Marlow's Tavern is bringing Mardi Gras to Atlanta with its annual Bayou ‘n Bourbon menu, a celebration of the Big Easy that blends soulful, indulgent cuisine with the spirit of community. Executive chef, CEO and co-founder John C. Metz has crafted a selection of specialty dishes and cocktails featuring bold bayou flavors available from Tuesday, Feb. 18, through Tuesday, March 11, 2025. Guests are encouraged to bring their krewe and enjoy this celebration of Louisiana’s diverse culinary traditions.

“We love bringing the vibrancy of New Orleans and the warmth and richness of Cajun and Creole cuisine to our guests,” says Metz. “Our taverns are already neighborhood gathering places, and the addition of these hearty, flavorful Mardi Gras staples contributes to the spirited atmosphere.”

Available for dine-in and takeout, Bayou ‘n Bourbon’s “Mo’ Betta Specials” ($10-$21) include:

  • Flatbread from the Bayou: built with Marlow’s secret sauce and the best ingredients Marlow’s kitchen and the Bayou has to offer

  • Shrimp and crawfish po’boy: battered and spiced shrimp and crawfish, tartar, baby arugula, tomato and smoked chili cream on a toasted baguette, served with tavern fries

  • Bayou crab cake: Louisiana-inspired, spiced up and fried crisp with sweet corn and pepper relish, baby arugula, tomato, vinaigrette and creole remoulade
