National Margarita Day returns on Feb. 22, 2023. Salt, no salt, frozen or on the rocks, Atlanta restaurants put their unique twists on this classic drink mixing tequila and lime juice with some offering specials to celebrate the occasion.
Chido & Padre’s is the perfect destination to celebrate National Margarita Day. The lively restaurant, known for its adventurous menu that takes inspiration from the culinary traditions of Mexico’s heartland, is marking the occasion with $7 happy hour margaritas all night., a tequila tasting and DJ tunes. In addition to Chido & Padre’s house margarita, other options include blood orange chili-infused, smoky hibiscus, ginger mango and blush pamplemousse.

Rreal Tacos, with locations in Midtown, West Midtown and Chamblee, offers a wide selection of margaritas sure to satisfy every taste. Rreal classic keeps it simple combining tequila, triple sec, agave and lime. Other options include versions flavored with mango, strawberry, passionfruit and spicy pineapple; Clase Azul margarita with Clase Azul Reposado, Licor de Naranja, lime and agave; and Hennessy margarita with Hennessy cognac, lime juice, triple sec and agave.
Tin Lizzy’s Cantina is known for its menu of eclectic tacos, skillets and refreshing margaritas. To mark the occasion, all locations are offering $5 TLC margaritas mixing blanco tequila, fresh lemon and lime and agave nectar and $8 Herradura margaritas.
The Big Ketch Saltwater Grill in Buckhead lures guests with margarita specials starting at 11 a.m. to celebrate the big day. The eatery’s classic margarita is $7 per glass and $10 per fishbowl; tangy lemon berry margarita is $10 per glass and $15 per fishbowl. These refreshing margaritas pair perfectly with The Big Ketch’s menu of coastal-inspired fare and fresh seafood delivered daily.
