Atlanta’s most popular restaurants help guests declare freedom from the kitchen over the Fourth of July weekend with a variety of food and drink specials and star-spangled parties to honor America’s independence.

  • Raise a glass to celebrate the end of a successful AJC Peachtree Road Race at 5Church Atlanta. Runners wearing their 2021 road race T-shirts are invited to stop in on Saturday, July 3, for a complimentary mimosa with any purchase. 5Church will be closed on July 4.

  • Gypsy Kitchen is hosting Basque in the Sun on Sunday, July 4. Guests will venture through a culinary adventure of the Basque Country with a variety of pintxos and refreshing sips such as tintos de Verano, draft gintonics made with Gypsy Kitchen’s proprietary tonic, featured wines and refreshing ciders. A flamenco guitarist will entertain guests to enhance the immersive experience.

  • Venture out to HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern at Halcyon and celebrate at the eatery’s free Fourth of July party. From 3-10 p.m., enjoy live bands, a patio bar and food specials. RSVP to join the festivities.

  • Johnny’s Hideaway, one of Atlanta’s original nightspots, will be open late on Sunday, July 4. Live it up on America’s birthday on the best dance floor in town. Cover charge is $5.

  • Take the Fourth of July celebration to the next level and dine in style at Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails. The restaurant in historic Crabapple is featuring half-priced filet mignons starting at 3 p.m. on July 4.

  • For those not able to make it to the beach this Fourth of July, The Big Ketch Saltwater Grill in Buckhead saves the day. Atlanta’s favorite beach house will be open regular hours on Sunday, July 4, serving the best seafood and yacht drinks in town.

  • Celebrate the USA with a “Red, White and Blue” burger at Marlow’s Tavern. Available Sunday, July 4, this tantalizing, cooked-to-order burger is perfectly seasoned and topped with blue cheese, caramelized onions and red peppers, then piled onto a toasted sesame brioche bun and served with Freedom fries.

  • Drawbar – the American-style eatery at West Midtown’s new, modern hotel Bellyard – is offering guests the Rockets’ Red Glare, a limited-time, festive cocktail. Available from July 1-4, the patriotic libation is made of Tito’s vodka and lemonade and garnished with the ever-so-nostalgic Bomb Pop.
