Atlanta Restaurants Serve Thanksgiving Feasts for the Whole Family

5Church Atlanta welcomes guests to dine in for Thanksgiving. The Midtown restaurant’s buffet includes carving stations with roast turkey breast, salt-crusted prime rib and marinated grilled salmon as well as an array of fresh salads, side dishes and desserts that will have guests coming back for seconds and thirds. The buffet runs from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. and costs $67 per adult and $18 per child. A Thanksgiving meal at Atkins Park Restaurant & Bar in Virginia-Highland is always a treat. The restaurant opens at 4 p.m. serving a Thanksgiving dinner boasting Big Green Egg-smoked turkey breast with caramelized apple and sage stuffing and cider gravy; braised pork shoulder with roasted root vegetables and bourbon glaze; green bean casserole with crispy onions and roasted mushrooms; roasted garlic mashed potatoes; cranberry Grand Marnier compote, sweet potato biscuits; and pumpkin cheesecake and Southern pecan pie for dessert. Enzo Steakhouse & Bar, a new culinary concept from Chef Andrea Montobbio, takes care of Thanksgiving entertaining with a chef-inspired farm-to-table turkey meal that feeds four for $250. The meal includes half of a wood fire-roasted turkey roulade with pork sausage and chestnut stuffing; cranberry-orange chutney and rosemary gravy; roasted butternut squash lasagna; olive oil smashed potatoes; green beans with bacon and red onion jam; baby kale with goat cheese, cranberry, shaved pear, shallot vinaigrette and hazelnuts; and a choice of a whole pumpkin or pecan pie for dessert. Heirloom Café in Athens takes come of the hassle out of Thanksgiving cooking with a variety of side dishes and desserts that serve four people. Among the delectable options are sausage and apple stuffing; maple chili roasted sweet potatoes; mushroom herb gravy; broccoli, cheddar and rice casserole; biscuits with apple butter; and caramelized honey pumpkin pie. HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern hosts Thanksgiving dinner at its Brookhaven, Perimeter, Alpharetta/Halcyon and Atlantic Station locations. From 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m., guests can devour a three-course menu for $39 per person. The first course includes a choice of curried pumpkin soup with cranberry-pecan chutney, kale salad or pimento cheese served with toasted sourdough and butter pickles. Slow-roasted turkey breast, seared Atlantic salmon, 12-hour porter-braised short ribs or apple cider and mustard-glazed ham are each served with scrumptious sides and sauces for second-course options. Milton's Cuisine & Cocktails offers the best of both worlds this Thanksgiving with a three-course prix-fixe menu in the dining room or a to-go holiday meal to cherish at home. The three-course menu will be served from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. for $55 for adults and $22.50 for children (excluding tax and gratuity). The to-go meal option for $99 includes a 12- to 14-pound apple-brined and smoked turkey and one quart of sage-corn spoonbread and Madeira gravy. For those wanting a Thanksgiving meal with ALL the fixings, Milton’s is preparing a Thanksgiving feast boasting a 12- to 14-pound apple-brined and smoked turkey with one quart each of mashed potatoes, Madeira gravy, sage-corn spoonbread, smoked Gouda mac ‘n cheese, cheddar grits, Kentuckyaki Brussels sprouts and green beans for $175. The turkey comfortably feeds six to eight guests with sides feeding two to four. Additional savory sides for both meal options are $20 per quart. Ocean & Acre welcomes families to its majestic dining room on Thanksgiving Day for a four-course pre-fixe menu of elevated Thanksgiving fare. Wood’s Chapel BBQ on Georgia Avenue in Summerhill is serving Thanksgiving to-go. The a la carte menu includes a whole smoked turkey with gravy for $95 and a smoked turkey breast for $18 per pound. Wood’s Chapel also is offering a dinner for four ($195) and a dinner for eight ($375) with all the fixings for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner at home.
